Hiya

hello all. So a stressful few days of trying to edit the final project is winding to and end, just like the semester. We had tons of trouble uploading our footage, and now I am having more trouble having to convert the monstrous files over to youtube. Hopefully I can get it completed soon!

Hi everybody!

I have been staying busy working on end of the year projects, some of my own, and some others just to help out some friends. I have been working on recording some audio, and doing some editing with Audacity, basically its just me jamming on my guitar. I also uploaded one really poor quality video of me playing the "blues scale" onto youtube.

Wrapping up

So I have been working tons on a bunch of end of the year projects, I think I may be going a little crazy. This semester was one of the most stressful I have encountered thus far. Thank goodness its almost over.

On that note, it looks like I will be graduating soon, I wish I could afford to stay around and make more connections with people and work on their projects, but financially its just not going to happen. I suppose I will still be able to come around and help people out with their shorts.

This is Tony, Anthony... whatever. You know who I am. I just got back from a magical train ride with one of my best friends. It was grand. We smuggled a couple beers on the train, which made for a more pleasant ride.

Our group finally got together to film our viral video, we ran out of daylight. So hopefully our editor will be able to make something of it. It was a great script, but thats only a small bit of the whole. With more time, I am sure we would have been able to produce a higher quality short, but we did what we could with what we had. Cheers!

Hello friends!

Whats happenin? So I think I am finally up to date with my blackboard posts, one of the last ones I submitted was all my files and folders as a zipped file. Hopefully that worked. Its crunch time as far as classes and projects go. Good thing I am working 30 hours a week at my job, who needs sleep? We can sleep all we want when we are dead!

But on other notes, I am going to start working on my personal audio and video projects. So far my idea is to record a few short segments of me playing guitar. Possibly for both audio and video.

Getting down to it

So our group is beginning to schedule shooting dates and work down our script. Its been quite a challenge to schedule, myself having to work 35+ hours a week in order to support myself, and all the different projects I am involved in, not to mention everyone elses busy schedules. With that being said, I am sick of school and cannot wait until break.


Is school supposed to be this stressful?

Does anyone else think its backwards that many students have to work in order to pay for school, when we are supposed to be going to school so that we can work? Man that seems dumb.

Anyways I guess I am just bitter that my parents dont pay for everything like so many other people.

What up G's? I just got home from work. Its going to be a loooong week for me, working 35+ hours on top of classes, man being in college is great! Not to mention, tons of projects, and what little socializing I have time for.



On another note, I am looking forward to working on our viral video project. Most of my flash animations are done, but I still do not have my own domain.


This semester has been quite sucky, and I am looking forward to break....

Hello "faithful four"

To the handful of people who peep my page... sorry I have not updated you in a while. The semester thus far has been a pain in my a$&! The sad thing is it does not seem to be looking up much, but I am probably just wallowing in my own pity... and being dramatic.


Deep breathes, one, two, three.... ahhhhh.

Our group viral video project is coming along quite nicely, the script is pretty funny and I am eager to start principal photography.

The look and feel of my website is coming along nicely, and I actually like it. However, I am still a very poor and starving college kid, with no available funding for domain space.

Slacking slightly, sorta

So, it seems that I have not been staying on top of my blog posts. I have been very busy working and doing various other school work. This week is CMF (Campus Movie Fest) the largest student film competition in the country, you can check the website at www.campusmoviefest.com. I am working on two shorts, one we finished shooting yesterday, and one we should be finishing today. Twelve to thirteen hour days are normal, and actually compared to the pros, that is actually a short day.
I really hope my teams win.


Our group has started brainstorming possible ideas for our viral video, we came up with an initial idea, but need to develop it further.

I'm going to try and be more punctual with these posts..

Getting used to the flow

So, the semester is a bit of the way in. It seems I am still getting used to these online classes of mine. Working around trying to make money in order to take classes and actually "taking" these classes has been giving me some trouble. I need to buckle down and give myself some sort of concrete schedule of when I can work on my projects, especially with CMF coming up.

I have found that Dreamweaver is a fairly accessible program and it meshes extremely well with Photoshop. I need to spend more time developing the "look" of my site, as it is essentially a template right now.

Has anyone purchased domain space yet? Any word on group discounts or good prices that do support Dreamweaver?

So, class is officially in session, I like my lineup, but am struggling to keep up with some online classes, this one is not so bad, but another one that I have has very strict parameters and time frames, it makes my head hurt.

Anyhow, I am looking forward to learning some flash and dreamweaver skills, I think it will be very valuable and useful skills to own. Here's to you Dan!
